Festivus perusal score – full score

This is a work based out of a doodle I was doing on the piano in January 2017, while working for the Dietrich School District.. The opening riff is a D9 arpeggio, working its way towards the middle of the chord. There are many crescendos and decrescendos that have small circles on the end of them. These are to begin without the tongue, seamlessly entering the sonic landscape of this work.

The secondary theme should be treated as a dance in 7/8, airing on the lighter side of interpretation. While this work has many melancholy sections, the end is joyous, and ends as a great celebration.
